A Black Empowerment civil engineering construction company headquartered in Gauteng — delivering quality infrastructure since 1999.
G4 Civils is a Black Empowerment Civil Engineering Construction company based in Gauteng. Since inception in 1999, G4 Civils has established itself as a major role player in the South African Civil Construction Sector.
Our spectrum of work ranges from Road Construction, Bulk Earthworks, Land Rehabilitation, Reinforced Concrete Structures, Services (stormwater, sewer, and water reticulation) and Routine Road Maintenance Projects — mainly across Gauteng, Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga.
G4 Civils is committed to being a truly South African firm. Our focus is on achieving our BEE Compliance obligations and meeting our Employment Equity goals through a work environment that promotes equality of opportunity in a positive and supportive manner.
We recognise that empowerment of people leads to a country's richness, and we are committed to making a meaningful contribution to South Africa's changing environment through the development of our people.
We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all personnel. Our Safety Manager oversees ongoing training, mentorship, and internal safety audits — working hand-in-hand with senior management. We believe a safe site is a productive site.
G4 Civils maintains quality assurance systems based on ISO 9001/2000 principles, SABS 1200, COLTO, Cement & Concrete Institute specifications, and TRH/TMH testing methods to satisfy regulatory requirements and rising customer expectations.
We recognise the impact of construction on the environment and fully implement the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for each project — delivering works that conform to internationally accepted environmental norms and standards.
G4 Civils regards Black Economic Empowerment as a business imperative. The following principles are embedded in the day-to-day running of our contracts:
Since submission of our first Employment Equity Plan in 2000, we have consistently focused on the education and training of our employees.
Our current EE plan targets employment of disabled personnel and training of black females — reflecting our belief that empowerment of people leads to a nation's richness.
"To be a company that portrays quality, service excellence and professional integrity in our relationships with our suppliers, subcontractors, professional associates and customers."
